A Winter Solstice Celebration!

Happy Solstice and Yule Y’all! A wonderful time for connection, reflection and reverence to ourselves and our world. Marking the time of the shortest day and longest night of the year, nature invites us to stay present and tune into the natural rhythms around us.

Tips to honor the solstice:

  • Focus on light - rise with the sun and let plenty of natural light in

  • Take a break from stimulants - make a warm and grounding drink to enjoy like Golden Milk or Solstice Tea

  • Log off - reduce screen time and allow extra rest & reflection

  • Embrace your shadow - allow time to journal and integrate your shadow (parts of yourself you have rejected)

  • Create with the elements - collect materials outside that you feel connected to, use them to make an art piece or alter

  • Commune - spend time with friends/family and share a nourishing meal by candle light, check out these recipes
